Celestial Trails, a solo ambient music project based in San Francisco, is initiated by Taner Torun, the founder of Fluttery Records. The project is characterized by compositions that incorporate a diverse range of modern ambient elements, blending organic textures with digital components.

Utilizing a varied instrumental palette, Celestial Trails incorporates organic textures, including piano, analog synthesizer, organ, electric and bass guitar with virtual instruments. The integration of electroacoustic techniques, such as reverb, delay, harmonizing, tape manipulation, and sonic deconstruction, is a distinctive feature that unites analog and virtual realms within the project’s soundscapes.

The creative process involves the meticulous construction of music, layer by layer, with an additional dimension brought by tape-manipulated field recordings captured during nature hikes and city walks.

Celestial Trails came into existence in the summer of 2023. Inspired by two foundational pillars—nature and outer space—the project blurs the lines between reality and dream-like. Beyond its celestial exploration, Celestial Trails serves as a conduit for deep meditation experiences through the music, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in contemplative sonic journeys.
