Germany’s response to post-rock & post-metal

Seeming Emptiness - Conversion

Seeming Emptiness is an instrumental solo project of Kevin Möckel from Saxony, Germany. Kevin thinks that “Doom-touched post-rock” is the easiest way to define his style. Seeming Emptiness combines the crushing guitars and dark melodies of doom metal with the dreamy, gently soundscapes of post-rock. The mood of the music is mostly very melancholic, emotional and the songs tell instrumental stories. Massive guitars, atmospheric synths and lead guitars in two voices are significant for the music.

Conversion is the first full length album of Seeming Emptiness. It contains nearly 51 minutes of music, parted into 6 songs which will take you on an atmospheric journey from darkness to light.

“We found this one man band via music submissions” says Taner Torun (label manager / Fluttery Records) and adds “If you find the term one man band a bit weird, have listen to Seeming Emptiness, it might change your mind.”

Fluttery Records welcome this talented artist with this six song recording, the rest should come very soon!
