The split album is made by Neko Nine (Yaroslavl, Russia) and The Creator Of (Tokyo, Japan). Each band presented two tracks. In the “Japanese” part we can hear measured anxious melodies mixed with harsh guitar sound and rock drums which sometimes become ethnic. Neko Nine’s music gives us breathtaking drama with calm introductions and forcible culminations and again we find folk elements like tin whistle and handclaps. Being so different, these bands made a wellbalanced and oneofakind release. This release is the product of different cultures, it was born on crossroads of Japanese and Russian cultural traditions and western music styles. About the Bands;
NEKO NINE 
Russia’s Neko Nine was started by Seva Shaposhnikov in 2009. It became a four piece band in December, 2011. Here they are: Seva Shaposhnikov (guitar, vocals, samples), Andrey Kuznetsov (bass), Roman Veselov (guitar), Aleksandr Danilevsky (drums). Later Nikita Kozhemiakin (keyboards, percussion) joined too. They have released their debut album “Summer is You” on Fluttery Records. Neko Nine’s postrock / postmetal aesthetics is made of peaceful melodies & distorted harsh guitars, atmospheric sound space, nasty drum beats. Their music also contains unique results of the experimentation of new possibilities for postrock sounds.
THE CREATOR OF 
The Creator Of was born in early wild 1990’s in Tokyo. This Japanese band started as a young alternative rock trio. But years were going and their music was undergoing changes, too. Day by day band’s sound was absorbing new elements from different genres to release significant album “In Reservoir” in 2002. But this release became a final point in their early activity. The Creator Of has gone to deep underground becoming quiet during few years. In 2010 band woke up with new energy and new ideas. Step by step they were going to revival to create new melodies filled postrock and ambient parts. In November 2013 band released new full album “Light” to introduce their totally fresh sound to the whole world. And now, they are willing to go ahead, reborn absolutely.
