Suspension Bridge Workshop, an instrumental rock band based in Los Angeles, CA, is gearing up to release their debut album, “001.”
The trio, comprised of Michael Bouvet (guitar), also known for his role in Arms Of Tripoli, Gabriel Lewis (bass), and Ben Pablo (drums), crafts dynamic instrumental post-rock tracks that break away from conventional structures, offering a seamless journey through varied moods and transitions.
“001” draws influences from progressive rock to experimental post-rock, delivering tracks like “Oh Crap, He’s Still Alive” with heavier elements and introducing somber strings in “This Is Not A Math Rock Song, This Song Is Sunday Bloody Sunday.”
Suspension Bridge Workshop consciously opts for an instrumental approach, aiming to convey a universal emotional connection that transcends individual perspectives. Their debut resonates with authenticity, blending quiet and loud moments, a touch of math-rock complexity, and an overarching commitment to crafting memorable songs. With influences spanning indie-rock, experimental, and post-rock, Suspension Bridge Workshop’s unique sound is a testament to their musical integrity.
