Nadav Cohen is a composer from Melbourne, Australia born in 1999. His music is built on a myriad of emotions and sounds. The music may find itself travelling across the territories of ambient, classical or electronic music. This limitless approach to music allows Cohen’s music to feel timeless. Cohen began his musical journey at the age of 9 with a guitar in his hand and no formal musical education. However, it was not until 2014 that he began playing the piano which has allowed him to create the musical structures he does today. This was followed by his ever growing love for synth creation and programming, adding a new layer of depth to his palette. By attempting to break the boundaries of music, Cohen attempts to create music with emotional depth that will move the listener.

Outside of music, Cohen is a science enthusiast and is currently studying tertiary mathematics. Cohen describe his thought process as ‘logical and sequential’ which can be heard through his repeating motifs and recurring sounds. This way of thinking allows him to see the world of music in an entirely different way, breaking down each sound into its simplest elements and rebuilding it again.
