Remastered debut: Artificial Waves and “Initial Link”

Remastered debut: Artificial Waves and “Initial Link”

We are always extremely excited when we can look back at our artists’ old pieces taking new shape. This time, we are here with the first self-released album of Artificial Waves, called “Initial Link”. The album was first released in 2013 and now it is coming to you in its remixed version.

Artificial Waves was formed in 2012 and is based in Moscow, Russia. They are experimenting with contemporary instrumental music such as post-rock, post-metal, math-rock or ambient.

“Initial Link” defines the Artificial Waves sound that includes traditional post-rock instruments: guitar, bass, drums, but also electronics, piano and strings parts adding details to overall mix every time you listen to it. The third track called “Transient” tells a long story through its complicated composition structure from loud intro to quiet main theme presented on electric piano and guitars and exciting solo part.
